Sour Belgian Porter

Collaboration beer with Beavertown. We brew and blend two different beers to create this beer. First we make a Porter that is fermented with Belgian yeast, then a kettle soured beer with the same malt bill. At this stage we taste the two together and work out a blend to go into our red Burgundy barrels, where it spends around 5 months with raspberries, lactobacillus and brettanomyces. The end product is a complex beer with slightly sharp, dark, vinous and strong red berry notes.
